PSS is our award winning service model where we provide and manage scientific services directly within our clients' facilities, mainly within the pharmaceutical sector. It is a global service offering and we have been managing services through this model since 2002.

For one of our teams based in Tyrol, we are currently looking to hire a (Senior) Scientist and Team Leader with a focus on working with cell cultures and viruses. In this newly created position your main responsibilities will include, but won´t be limited to:

• Management of a PSS team including coaching and mentoring, performance management, recruiting
• Acting as first point of contact for our client
• Cell banking and associated scientific literature search
• Method Development and Validation
• Writing of GMP-compliant assay development reports as well as validation protocols and reports
• Training and mentoring of colleagues

Qualifications

For this interesting opportunity we are looking for somebody with

• Master degree or PhD in related topic
• Previous managerial experience would be beneficial
• Fluent in English written and spoken, German would be beneficial
• Experience working with adherent cell cultures, including aseptic handling
• Experience with virology would be an advantage
• Expertise with method validations
• Previous experience working in a GMP environment, including proven proficiency in technical writing is an advantage
• Experience in international project teams would be desired

The collective agreement minimum salary (employment group (Vewendungsgruppe) V) for this position is at least EUR 4.089,00. Due to the responsibilities and the challenging tasks and with appropriate qualifications, there will be an appropriate overpayment.
