Lead Principal Application Engineer HV Automotive (f/m/div)

In your new job you will:

• Work with development, marketing and key-customers in the design in phase, provide on-site technical support for selected key customers and our sales force
• Drive future application specific product improvements and suggestions for new products in collaboration with Product Marketing /Product Development
• Define and create test boards and lab benches
• Conduct application specific lab testing including documentation of results
• Generate promotion material based on value proposition
• Conduct feasibility study and review concept / product architecture
• Support internal verification and customer validation of prototypes
• Provide and review technical content for product roadmap
• Provide training and hand over to Application Engineers

You are an open-minded team player with the capacity of conveying information to public with deferring needs. Furthermore, you bring in good communication skills, foster an open exchange climate and know how to establish lasting relationships and networks with colleagues and worldwide clients.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in the design, development and/or test of power supplies
• Experience with simulation (Simetrix, Simplis, Spice) and layout (Altium, Eagle) software
• Experience in technical customer support and intercultural communication
• Excellent English skills with German skills as a plus
• Openness to travel

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
