PSS is our award winning service model where we provide and manage scientific services directly within our clients' facilities, mainly within the pharmaceutical sector. It is a global service offering and we have been managing services through this model since 2002.

For one of our teams based in Vienna we are currently looking to hire a Media Buffer preparation Analyst with a focus on GLP, and to Analytical tasks. Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Small and Large scale preparation of complex media/reagents/buffers.
• Creation of manufacturing protocols according to GLP guidelines.
• Documentation of the manufacturing process according to GLP operations of 50L, 200L and 400L single use media tanks.
• Calibration of PH and conductivity.
• Responsible for the maintenance of various devices,use of various steriltechnique (work in laminar flow, sterile connection with tube devices and sterile connectors.
• Ensuring that clients requirements are fully met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor / Master degree in cellular biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher education is necessary.
• Ability to perform all basic calculations related to buffer composition (Molarity, dilution factor, etc.) is necessary.
• Professional Experience in working on GLP.
• Good communication skills both internally and externally.
• Good planning, Organisational and trouble shooting skills.

The collective agreement minimum salary (employment group (Vewendungsgruppe) IV) for this position is at least EUR 2.860,62. Due to the responsibilities and the challenging tasks and with appropriate qualifications, there will be an appropriate overpayment.
