Located to our manufacturing site in Linz we are looking for an HR professional with proven results who can be partner with different business teams, managers, and key stakeholders to help building the organisation and people capability. As such the ideal candidate would shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within an intensively growing organisation. People & Performance Business Partner, Austria (f/m/d) - Linz, Austria

What is possible?

  • Working closely with the Site Head and leadership team of Nufarm Linz and the Country Manager Alps & South and team on the people agenda for their teams/functions
  • Being in charge of operational HR matters for Austria across all functions in the organisation together with one team member
  • The role liaises with People & Performance centers supporting people's professional development, recruitment activities, onboarding, engagement, performance management, compensation activities delivery, and delivering HR services
  • Being responsible for legally compliant and business focussed people policies and procedures, and a trustful working relationship with the workers councils supporting our business
  • Co-ordinating activity around employee engagement, ensuring the promotion of a healthy, engaged and retained workforce and supporting the initiatives of the local Inclusion & Diversity Committee for Linz and Austria
  • Thru coaching managers on all aspects of the people function, like performance management, talent management processes, compensation review and incentive planning or leveraging voice of the business results to make improvements you ensure compliance to Nufarm processes

What do you bring?

Mandatory:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Economics or similar with 10+ years HR experience with 5+ years in leading a function/team within the HR space in an international environment (or a similar combination of education and experience)
  • Growth mindset and professional approach with positive intentions
  • Strong communication, organisational and influencing skills with fluent or native proficiency in English and German language skills - any other language is an asset
  • Experience in co-determination, leading and negotiating in a union/workers council environment in a manufacturing facility (Chemical CBA)
  • Digital savvy with a love for working digitally including being a practitioner in all MS office applications
  • Willingness to occasional and planned travel within Europe

Desirable to have:

  • Coaching certification or similar level of formal degree to
  • Experience as stand-alone HR professional working in a virtual team setting with functional reporting outside of country
  • Working practise in a manufacturing environment
  • Enjoys changes and influencing cultural changes
  • Used to a maturing business environment with service centre structure, HR centres of expertise and HRBPs for regions/functions in a matrix environment
  • Thrives in an international and diverse environment while embracing the local culture
  • with fluent English and German language skills; any other language skills are an asset.
  • Savvy in various HR online tools, knowledge of SuccessFactors is a plus
