PALFINGER stands for most innovative, reliable and economic hoist-equipment on utility vehicles and in the maritime sector. To strengthen our team in the Centre of Excellence Mechatronics in Köstendorf, we are looking for a Mechanical design & toolchain specialist (w/m/d) Location Köstendorf, Austria

You are communicative, like to share your knowledge and feel at home in the CAD world? Are you a team player and very interested in further optimizing existing systems, testing new design methods and training them globally? Then you've come to the right place!

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advance all design aspects for cost-efficient solutions incl. modular designs and standard components

• Responsibility for the CAD design standard at Palfinger, the associated CAD interface functions to production and the provision of CAD-relevant PNORMS

• Definition of working methods and design guidelines in our CAD software Creo Parametric

• Function of the global CAD key user in the company

• Support and training for the Creo Parametric CAD software for our product lines

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed technical education in the field of mechanical engineering/steel construction (FH/TU)
• Several years of experience in mechanical design, experience as a CAD key user an advantage
• Extensive product knowledge of mobile machinery desirable
• Several years of experience with CAD/PLM systems, preferably Creo Parametric/PDMLink (Windchill)
• Communicative and very good English skills
• Willingness to international travel (20%)
