To expand our team, we are looking for someone to fill the following full-time (38.5 h) position as soon as possible:

Senior Software Engineer m/f/d

Your new responsibilities

• Responsibility for the technological development of hardware-related software for controlling our high-precision machines
• Implementation, documentation and testing of the software
• Assistance in the preparation of specifications
• Implementation of features according to specification and guidance by software architects
• Adherence to agreed schedules
• Analysing, identifying and resolving customer problems in-house together with the software testers
• Support and communication with internal departments
• Collaboration in an international environment
• Supporting product marketing and service as well as travel in the scope of problem solving, initial operation and (beta) testing
• Supporting the software architects in the creation of software designs

Our requirements

• HTL, FH or University with technical orientation, ideally in the field of automation, communication technology or computer science
• Several years of experience in high-level language programming of machines is desirable
• Very good knowledge in C++, OOP and Linux
• Experience with UML design, Ethernet, CAN, serial connections is an advantage
• Very good problem solving ability, abstraction ability, analytical approach and structuring ability
• Ability to work in a team, creativity, strong communication skills and resilience
• Customer-oriented thinking and acting
• Excellent command of English
• German language skills is an advantage
