To expand our team, we are looking for someone to fill the following full-time (38.5 h) position as soon as possible:

Software Tester m/f/d

Your new responsibilities

As a software tester, you will be responsible for thoroughly testing software applications to identify and report defects and ensure that they meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with development and quality assurance teams to efficiently manage the entire software development and release process.

• Co-responsibility for the new technological development and improvements of our hardware-related software for controlling our high-precision machines.
• Developing test strategies, test plans and detailed test cases
• Perfrom manual tests on the machine with a view to customer suitability
• Assisting the creation of automatic regression tests
• Recreating and identifying customer problems in-house together with the software developers
• Adherence to agreed schedules
• Support and close communication with internal departments
• Collaboration in an international environment
• Supporting service and traveling in the context of problem solving, initial operation and (beta) testing

Our requirements

• Technical education (HTL or university in the field of mechanical engineering, computer science)
• Knowledge of programming languages and scripting (e.g. Python or similar) is an advantage
• Knowledge of test methods, tools and best practices in software testing is an advantage
• ISTQB Certified Tester or other relevant certifications are an advantage
• Good command of English
• Willingness to travel and a commitment to work, service orientation and high quality awareness
• Initiative as well as an independent and structured way of working
