Development engineer:in interior / seating system of the civilian G-Class

Aufgaben

• You are responsible for the support and further development of the seating system of the civilian G-Class including the associated systems (e.g. seat adjustment, heating, ventilation, occupant classification)
• You will develop customer-specific solutions and ensure the necessary adjustments are made
• As the person responsible for components, you will manage the relevant development service providers and suppliers
• You regularly coordinate with internal specialist departments and the cross-divisional E/E, safety and certification functions
• You ensure product quality and maturity while always keeping an eye on deadlines and costs
• You create requirement specifications and technical specifications
• You also ensure digital and physical buildability (DMU/PMU) as well as buildability in the factory

Qualifikationen

• Degree (FH, Uni) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or a comparable field of study
• Professional experience in series development and supplier management in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of seat systems, seat cover materials/cover development, plastics and foam processing, seat comfort systems (heating, ventilation, massage, etc.) and mechatronic systems
• Experience with Siemens NX desirable
• Experience with requirement management systems (e.g. IBM Doors) and MB-specific IT systems (e.g. Dialog, Smaragd) an advantage
• Strong team and communication skills
• Assertiveness as well as a goal-oriented, agile and conceptual way of working
• Business fluent in German and English

If all requirements are met, we offer a possible salary from € 60,000 gross/year. Depending on professional experience and qualifications, we are prepared to make an overpayment.
