As our Ingest, Playout and Quality Management Specialist, you play a vital role throughout the footage lifecycle from post-production to distribution and archive, ensuring timely delivery and on-time availability of content in accordance with our quality standards. The position will be indefinite.

- Quality Control of finished movies, videos and clips in all possible variants, e.g.: HD, UHD, SDR, HDR, Dolby Vision, 5.1, Dolby Atmos, etc.
In this role you'll be responsible for the quality control process including checking finished movies, videos and clips in various formats such as HD, UHD, SDR, HDR, Dolby Vision, 5.1, Dolby Atmos and more.
- Handling / Ingesting / Transcoding of raw material
You'll also handle, ingest and transcode raw materials while providing a comprehensive understanding of the steps involved in preapring the material for furhter use.
- Playout of different formats / media (e.g.: DVDs, BluRays, DCP, …)
Another responsiblity of this role would be the playout of different formats like DVDs, BluRays and more.
- Recording of live feeds and streams for post pro and archive
In this role you'll be responsible for recording live feeds and streams for various events, conferences and broadcasts. You'll also collaborate with the production team to understand specific recording requirements.
- Repairing of assets to meet RBMH technical requirement
This role will focus on efficiently repairing and restoring our assets by utillizing your expertise and technical knowledge
- Conforming finalized Assets for Distribution (e.g.: standards conversion, codec conversion, format conversion)
You'll also play a crucial role in ensuring the conformity and finalization of assets for destribution. Your primary responsibilites will involve standards conversion, codec conversion, and format conversion of audio, video, and image files.

EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in technology within the TV/film industry
- Strong knowledge of video and audio standards, codecs and workflows in a live and non-live environment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends and possibly to travel
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Team player, can-do-attitude, willingness to go the extra mile, self-motivated
- Firm knowledge of Adobe CC, particularly Premiere Pro and Media Encoder
- Very good German and English skills
- Experience with multichannel recording software, such as Softron Movie Recorder and Stryme
- Travel 0-10%
