Global Marketing Controller

Dealing with numbers and establishing good business relationships are our passion. To strengthen the Marketing Controlling Team we are looking for a Controller at our Headquarter in Fuschl am See.

In this Business partner role you support our marketing departments through the preparation and analysis of data and recognition of the core message to provide valuable insights. You are responsible for our global Business Planning Tool and ensure a yearly roll-out before planning.

In addition, the willingness to start or strengthen your role as a future-proof finance sparring partner will be strongly supported (e.g. Analytics Tools, coding skills such as Python and R, and visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI). With the use of these analytics tools and coding know-how, you'll bring yourself and the job to the next level.

• BUSINESS PARTNERING

• Become a well-trusted finance business partner and sparring partner for our marketing departments, work closely with them and support them in all financial and budget-related matters

• Support the marketing departments in various projects and requests

• Coordinate the Business Plan/Revised Estimates with budget owners, support and challenge them on realistic planning (monthly phasing, CAPEX/OPEX, guideline compliance etc.)

• MONTH-END CLOSING, REPORTING AND PLANNING

• Ensure an accurate, on-time reporting for the Marketing departments and challenge their planning accuracy and cost consciousness

• Establish a deep understanding of the Marketing and Indirect Marketing expenses

• Ensure that finance basics are met at any time (taxes, accounting, guideline compliance etc.) and facilitate a smooth planning process by providing relevant planning input forms and support Marketing during planning phases

• Preparation of ad hoc reports and business analyses for management and business partners

• Establish a profound understanding of our processes and system landscape

• Support different projects by providing accurate data and analysis

• BUSINESS PLANNING TOOL

• Finance responsible for our global Business Planning Tool, which serves as a reporting tool for our top-management Business Planning meetings

• Coordinate and master all finance implementations for the yearly roll-out of the latest Business Planning Tool version and guarantee a smooth global roll-out before planning

• Drive developments and enhancements

• Keep the Business Planning Tool User Guidance up to date and provide trainings before the Go Live

• Support of local Controllers/users globally during business planning

• SUPPORT AND TRAINING

• Develop a profound understanding of our Controlling guidelines

• Ensure that local organizations are compliant to our Controlling guidelines

• Run trainings as well as support countries in questions related to your scope of work

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Controlling (ideally in FMCG sector)
• University degree in Finance/Business economics/Controlling
• Fluent English, German skills as advantage
• Strong analytical, numeric and communication skills
• Excellent Excel skills as well as overall IT affinity, VBA is a plus
• Practical knowledge of SAP R/3, SAP BI and Hyperion as advantage
• Organizational talent, self-responsibility, performance and result orientated
• Self-motivated, self-directed and open-minded teamplayer
• Accurate working and hands-on mentality
• Someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment
• Travel 0-10%
