Research technician (m/w)

Responsibilities

• Participate in and contribute to innovative research projects to develop vaccines for veterinary use.
• Planning and execution of experiments in collaboration with the project leader and other (international) team members.
• Research projects may involve different areas of expertise, e.g. virology, bacteriology, cell culture, molecular biology or cell biology.
• Setting up and development of new techniques and assays.
• Work and report research data in accordance with internal and GLP guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelors (BSc) degree or higher (or equivalent) in (medical) biology, biochemistry or similar.
• Working experience in a research environment is an advantage.
• Experience in areas of expertise such as virology, tissue culture, cell biology or molecular biology.
• Ability to think analytically, problem-solving skills, drive to succeed.
• Ability to work independently, e.g. in the planning of experiments.
• Professional proficiency in English is a requirement.
• Experience with working according to GLP guidelines is an advantage.
