Customer Quality Representative

Primary responsibilities will include:

• Attend customer placements within assigned area (TX, OK, AR)
• Provide quality assurance support at customer placements.
• Communicate with Hatchery management and Technical managers regarding placement and chick quality observations.
• Develop good working relationships with all customers and Aviagen Teams.
• Write detailed trip reports after each placement.
• Willing to travel up to 70% in assigned area; (TX, OK, AR) and occasionally attend placements in other regions.

The ideal candidate will possess the following characteristics:

• Bachelor of Science in Poultry Science or related field and/or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of hatchery operations or the poultry industry.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel (with Pivot Tables), PowerPoint, and Word.
• Must be self-motivated and disciplined, and capable of working unsupervised along with the having a flexible and adaptable work schedule.
• Have effective communication, organizational, interpersonal, and social skills.
• Strong time management and organization with an emphasis on the ability to prioritize objectives and plan tasks
• Must be able to effectively and professionally resolve conflict.
