GP Poultry Specialist

We are currently looking for a Poultry Specialist to cover our Pikeville, TN area. This person will be responsible for supervising all aspects of contract GP farms for that location.

Responsibilities will include and are not limited to:

• Supervising all aspects of contract GP farms
• Resolving contract grower conflicts
• Bio-security, strain security, animal welfare, and health & safety are major responsibilities
• May perform other tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor

Requirements:

• Two years of poultry experience preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to calculate feed, manage and weigh birds, prioritize work
• Schedules and solve problems relating to growth, performance, etc.
• Ability to work flexible hours including some weekends - on call 24 hours
• Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Team oriented
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Valid driver's license
