Based in Ankara, Türkiye and reporting to General Manager; Aviagen Anadolu is looking for "Hatchery Operations Manager" to manage and support all of our hatcheries in Türkiye and help supply quality chicks to our increasing and growing customer base. In this role, we expect the successful candidate to:

• Will manage all hatchery staff through hatchery managers.
• Work with Hatchery Managers to ensure consistent and smooth running of daily operations in all hatcheries.
• Support Hatchery Managers on all business-related issues including staff management.
• Make sure any new procedures and/or operational changes are standardized in all hatcheries.
• Work with technical, commercial, production and planning teams to ensure continuous supply of quality breeding stock in full and on time to all our customers.
• Coordinate the monthly and annual responsibilities for ongoing or new projects and targets.
• Oversee Quality Assurance/Quality Control programs in all hatcheries.
• Monitor each hatchery's equipment and/or investment needs, repairs and maintenance issues.
• Review processes, analyse results, take corrective/preventive actions and prepare regular management reports.
• Make strategic business planning and prepare annual hatcheries' budget together with hatchery managers.
• Be a member of Aviagen Anadolu senior management team and work with other fellow managers.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Comply with all company policies, Animal Welfare Guidelines, local laws and regulations and ensure all work in hatcheries meet necessary compliance and ISO standards.
• Attend internal Aviagen team and external customer meetings when required.
• Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by General Manager.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in hatcheries and hatchery management.
• Degree in Veterinary Medicine and or Agriculture Engineering.
• Fluent in Turkish and English.
• Demonstrate ability to lead, develop and motivate people.
• Have a "Positive/Can do" attitude.
• Knowledge in Parent Stock farming is a plus.
• Ability to travel when required within the country or internationally.
• Able to influence and persuade others through powerful communication.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Creative, high in self-motivation, team player, proactive problem-solver
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office suite
• Demonstrate excellent presentation, technical writing and communication skills.
• Analytical approach to business issues and ability to make decisions and take actions based on available data.
