What You Will Be Doing
You will work for an international team (Europe and India) which handles the topic "Proactive Monitoring and Alerting (PMA)".
With PMA products we drive supportability of monitoring the health, efficiency, and uptime of all ChargePoint's physical EV charging stations, Fleet Operations and Energy Management services, scaling to millions of devices worldwide. You will build tools to enable Support to diagnose and solve issues in real-time, while also rolling out products that provide analysis on infrastructure for customers.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
We work in cross-functional teams, which means you will be in close communication with product management, program managers, and engineering managers to build technical requirements; subsequently, work with engineering teams to develop software design, etc.
You'll work in a fast-paced environment, developing the product from minimum viability to world-scale maturity. Ensure requirements are fully understood and implementation matches expectations.

Requirements

5+ years of experience building back-end software systems

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science

Good in CS fundamentals - data structures and algorithms, OOP and domain-driven design

Write unit/integration tests

Solid experience of RESTful API design and development, as well as SOAP

Knowledge of monitoring and tracing tools (Grafana, Sentry, ELK Stack)

Comfortable with DevOps workflows

Ability to speak and write English fluently, with German an advantage
Nice-To-Haves
- Kotlin experience (or keen to learn)
- Apache Avro and Kafka Connectors
- React for full stack developmen
