Furthermore, you will support the product go-to-market (G2M) activities for telecom/datacenter DC/DC applications including evaluation board, application note, white paper, internal and external technical training.

In your new job you will:

• Collect inputs from the market and customer feedback, use your system understanding to define the targets specification of the next generation DC/DC controllers and contribute innovative concepts and ideas
• Product-to-system (P2S) validation of Infineon developed digital &analog controllers, hot-swap controllers, and e-fuse
• Design validation hardware, write system verification plan, and generate test reports
• Generation of customer product collateral (application notes, customer presentations, white paper, demo boards, simulation model and product training)
• Define the firmware requirements of innovation features using digital controller and validate the features in system
• Interact with Customer to support design-ins and ensure design-wins and to solve technical issues that may arise in the design-in and/or production of customer products using controller, may include managing the failure analysis of customer returned parts

You demonstrate strong communication skills and know how to establish lasting relationships and networks.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• BSc or MSc preferred with hands-on experience in high-frequency, high-current, high-density DC/DC designs including extensive lab skills for the test and debug of switch mode power supplies
• 8+ years of experience in engineering design and/or applications engineering and customer support
• Extensive knowledge of semiconductor design and application development and customer support
• Extensive knowledge in power supply control techniques
• A self-learning, self-discipline and team player mindset
• The ability to effectively multi-task, manage priorities and solve technical problems independently
• Networking skills and are good at developing relationships with internal and external engineering community
• The mindset to jump on the most difficult design and/or customer issues instantly
• Good communication skills in English both verbal and written

Further desired skills:

• Experience in using digital & analog controllers and drivers for power management
• Experience with magnetics design and optimization
• Experience with safety and EMI compliance
• Experience with PCB design tools, Altium or Allegro
• Experience with simulation tools

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. When staffed in Austria, the employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group J (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2023.pdf). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
