Principal Security Engineer - Automotive (f/m/d)

Within our CTO Business Line our Crypto & Security Competence Centre is looking for an expert on automotive security, with focus on UN R155 and ISO/SAE 21434, to support and drive a wide variety of related activities in our company.

In this role, you:

• Support and drive the development and assessment of work products required under ISO/SAE 21434

• Create and review TARAs for existing products and new developments

• Drive process improvements and awareness creation & training

• Support the product and Legal teams in addressing customer requests, and negotiating requirements in contractual agreements, related to the regulation and standard

• Contribute to standardization activities

• Will be working with numerous stakeholders across teams and disciplines

Your profile

• Several years of relevant work experience

• Master degree in Engineering - Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Security or Mathematics, PhD preferred

• Understanding of ISO/SAE 21434 and (ideally) related practical experience is a prerequisite

• Excellent communication skills

• Analytical mindset

• Good understanding of embedded systems, hardware and software and the security thereof; ability to quickly learn where needed

• Fluent in English, German preferred
