Our teams of technical experts specialize in harnessing live sporting data, using advanced cloud technologies, Java, JavaScript and Python. It is these tech teams that enable us to extract patterns through AI and Machine Learning and deliver our insights via APIs. In short, they turn complex data into magical experiences with cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

As Software Developer you will be responsible for building processes of development within a team to assure delivering high quality software.

• Video specific backend and frontend development - Problem-solve across multiple disciplines including frontend, API development, data engineering, and cloud.
• Contribute to all aspects of software engineering including design, testing, implementation, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate with your product owner, AI scientists, designers, and other engineers to deliver world-class AI-powered solutions.
• Coach and mentor software engineers on your team and across the company.
• Deliver using: agile workflow, common lifecycle processes with our world-wide engineering organization

Required Qualifications:

• Several years of relevant industry experience in software lifecycle delivery to production
• Familiarity / Experience in video processing pipelines
• Familiarity with a cloud-native architecture and serverless technologies
• Familiarity with any JavaScript framework
• Familiarity with Git and standard code repository processes
• Experience with any JavaScript test framework and assertion library
• Experience in working with teammates remotely and across time zones
• Experience in delivering products rapidly

Desired Qualifications:

• TypeScript - ffmpeg / fluent-ffmpeg
• Deeper understanding of MPEG-2-TS / HLS / fMP4 - WebRTC, WebCodecs, WebTransport, MSE
• Mobile development
• CI Tools: Terraform, Jenkins
• Databases: DynamoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch
• Kubernetes
