Associate - McKinsey Transformation

You will join one of our offices in Germany or Austria and will be part of our fast growing McKinsey's Transformation (MT) practice. You will serve on a client engagement team to help our clients in their transformation efforts.

Join a team of a dedicated MT consultants, complemented by consultants with deep industry and functional expertise within our global network. Your role transcends traditional restructuring - it's about contributing to success stories and fostering positive change on a grand scale.

You will serve clients by leveraging a holistic, execution-centric approach, providing interim management and transformation leadership capabilities.

To achieve proven results, you will apply all levers: including not only cost, but also business model changes, revenue growth, organizational change and capability building. Your client engagements will often span 12+ months.

You will combine a strategic perspective with disciplined implementation to identify the strategic, operational, organizational, and financial levers that will deliver client impact. You will apply the McKinsey's results-oriented and proprietary MT processes, which are backed by tools, benchmarks, and methodologies.

MT2024

• Bachelor's degree; master's degree or MBA is preferred
• Degree in business/management, economics, engineering or law preferred
• Experience with financial modeling, analysis and valuation preferred
• Experience in driving operational turnarounds and/or accelerated growth initiatives spanning critical strategic, revenue, cost, and working capital levers
• Ability to drive change through people leadership and capability building
• Experience working in professional service environments, especially management consulting, restructuring/transformation consulting, investment banking, private equity, preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing), in German and English
