OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.

Our business

Your tasks

• Thorough understanding of one or more risk areas (technical, economical, commercial, organizational) of the organization and capable of independently analyzing risks and checking controls performed in those areas.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the group-wide Internal Control System (ICS) requirements to assure that risk and controls in the related End-to-End processes are properly identified, managed, and monitored.
• Establish and maintain an efficient and effective ICS framework in the OMV Group.
• Conduct and instruct ICS checks with all fully consolidated entities.
• Document the outcome of ICS checks, recommend, and agree on improvement measures with the local organization.
• Ensure follow up on the implementation of the ICS improvement measures to mitigate the observed risks.
• Provide trainings, mentoring, communication, and best practice sharing for OMV's ICS Community.

Your profile

• University/master's degree in business administration, Law, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• At least 9 years of relevant professional experience, especially in finance, controlling and/or financial & business End-to-End processes.
• Austrian/international professional qualification such as CIA, CRMA, SRM, SPcM are beneficial.
• Sound understanding of IT systems, especially in SAP.
• Good knowledge of Process and Project Management methods
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Very good English language skills, good German skills are beneficial
