Billing Operations Manager (m/f/d)

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Billing Operations Manager to lead our Billing Department. Reporting to the Head of Billing & Collections, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in billing processes, experience with managing a team, and a deep understanding of financial systems and regulations. The Billing Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, resolving billing discrepancies, optimizing billing processes, and managing a team of Billing Clerks in Vienna, Austria.

THE CHALLENGE:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the billing department, including invoice generation, payment processing, and collections.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all billing activities, including reviewing invoices and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Develop and implement billing policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Manage and mentor a team of Billing Clerks, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, sales, and customer service, to resolve billing issues and improve overall customer satisfaction.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to billing operations.
• Analyze billing data and prepare reports for senior management, identifying trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track departmental performance and ensure targets are met.
• Lead projects to enhance billing systems, implement new technologies, and improve overall billing processes.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in billing operations, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of billing processes, financial systems, and accounting principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Experience with ERP systems preferably MS Dynamics / other systems SAP, Oracle etc.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong decision-making and leadership abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to billing and collections (e.g., GAAP, SOX) is a plus.

The minimum monthly salary for this position is according to Collective Bargaining Agreement, overpayment will be considered depending on qualifications and working experience.
