Your New Role

As a Chemical Process Engineer, you will be part of a pioneering wet chemistry recycling project. We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Process Engineer who is ready to participate in this significant endeavor and make a real contribution to environmental protection. If you are ready to take on this challenge and play a key role in shaping a sustainable future, we invite you to join our team. You will work closely with a team of engineers, planners, and other professionals, reporting to the general project manager to ensure that projects meet technical requirements, regulatory standards, and budgetary constraints.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Participation in the planning and design of the wet chemistry plant for the recycling project.
  • Supervision of basic and detail engineering with special attention to integrating the process technical plant with the existing facility (plant location).
  • Contribution to process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and instrumentation diagrams.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations throughout the project.
  • Identification and assessment of potential risks and development of measures for risk mitigation together with the risk manager.
  • Collaboration with the project team, suppliers, and authorities to obtain permits.
  • Identification of opportunities to optimize the process technical plant.
  • Commissioning of a chemical process technical plant and supervise the first production years (3) as a warranty engineer.

About You:

For this role, it would be beneficial to have the following qualifications and experience:

  • Completed degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of chemical process plants, ideally in the field of wet chemical processes.
  • Knowledge of process simulation and modeling (e.g., Aspen Plus, ChemCAD).
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office, MS Power BI).
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and solve complex problems.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Independent, proactive work style with a strong sense of ownership and initiative.
  • Experience in project management and adherence to schedules and budgets.
  • A deep understanding of safety standards and environmental regulations, as well as the ability to integrate them into all aspects of the project.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel and work outdoors.

Remuneration - the salary for this position will be between €78,960 - €93,640. Overpayment may be negotiable based on qualifications and experience.
