We are currently looking for a Project Manager for Push-Pull Intercity Trains (m/f/d) for our Mobility location in Vienna or Graz.

Your new field of activity - challenging and future-oriented

As a project manager, you will manage a multidisciplinary team to handle projects in the high three-digit million range and report directly to the Head of Projects. You will take on a central role in our company as an entrepreneur with full profit and loss responsibility for your project.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• You will be responsible for the project in all phases from development, procurement, production, commissioning, homologation, and handover to the customer as well as through the warranty period.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams to jointly develop innovative solutions for sustainable passenger transportation and implement them to the satisfaction of our customers.
• Creating an inspiring and motivating work environment in the team where creativity, teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, and you encourage employees to do their best.
• You communicate the project results and progress to management and other stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor the progress of your project, identify roadblocks, and develop solutions to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget while keeping the customer needs in mind.
• You continuously look for improvement potentials in close cooperation with the team taking into account schedules, budget and quality assurance standards.

Your qualifications - well-founded and adequate

• Interest in sustainable mobility solutions, digitalization, and rail vehicles
• Open-minded, communicative, and proactive personality who can solve problems in an independent manner.
• Completed technical education (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, etc.)
• Several years of experience in project management for customer projects
• Several years of experience in leading a project team
• Preferably you are a certified Project Manager
• Experience with rail vehicle projects is a plus, in any case you should be interest in sustainable mobility solutions and in the rail vehicle industry
• Very good oral and written proficiency/knowledge in German and English

The gross annual payment for this job vacancy is at least EUR 29.900,00 (full-time). Siemens as an international company offers additional social benefits.
