As an AI expert at Scalable you will play a key role in our company's data and Artificial Intelligence journey - driving AI initiatives within our organisation and ensuring successful implementation. You are a specialist in the Data Science Team and consultant across departments, driving AI literacy and education at Scalable and identifying use cases to reveal high business value using these new technologies. You will be at the forefront of harnessing AI technologies to optimise processes and drive innovation across a leading FinTech company.

Job description

• Act as the go-to person for AI-related queries and training needs, promoting a culture of AI literacy and understanding across departments
• Evaluate tools providing AI solutions and their benefit for the company, communicate with external providers
• Serve as subject matter expert in AI and large language models (LLMs) and related technologies
• Act as a consultant on topics related to AI across departments
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, tools and best practices in AI to inform strategic decision-making
• Provide guidance and support to internal teams on AI-related projects and initiatives
• Development and execution of AI strategies aligned with business objectives
• Create and communicate guidelines and policies related on AI usage in the company
• Maintain and improve our AI governance framework incl. an AI registry
• Ensure AI best practices are upheld, including technical and ethical considerations
• Identify opportunities and use cases with high business potential to leverage AI technologies for process optimisation, risk management and customer engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions and drive adoption across the organisation
• Educate employees in Prompt Engineering and how to use Gen AI tools most efficiently
• Work on Proof-of-Concepts using AI components
• support in planning and executing AI strategies that align with the company's goals and business objectives
• Be in close exchange with business units to understand their AI needs and tailor solutions accordingly
• Champion the value of AI initiatives and advocate for their adoption throughout the company

Qualifications

• University degree in technical or business field: computer science, economics, business informatics, data science, mathematics, natural sciences or similar
• Expert knowledge in Generative AI topics
• Understanding of Large-Language-Models
• Familiarity with modern AI tools
• Proven experience in AI development within a corporate environment
• Expertise in ethical AI considerations like European AI Act
• Programming skills in Python and SQL
• Business understanding and interest in Finance and Fintech Industry
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent presentation communication skills in English with the ability to translate technical concepts into business insights

Scalable Capital offers competitive compensation and benefits based on the performance, experience and qualifications of its employees. Due to Austrian legal requirements, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. This corresponds to the minimum annual gross salary according to the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Of course, we are prepared to offer a higher salary depending on the individual situation (experience, responsibility, specialist knowledge and skills).
