The chair of Prof Lewisch forms a unit within the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology with a special focus on business crime and criminal procedure; it is interdisciplinary and international.
Your personal sphere of influence:As a PraeDoc assistant you will receive a comprehensive education in the discipline of criminal law (and if desired, adjacent fields of law), including the legal practice. As a member of the research team you are supposed, after a first instruction, to work in a self-responsible manner in the above indicated areas and to write your dissertation in this discipline. Furthermore in the occupational development you will perform the task of teaching as well. The contract duration at the time of employment is 4 years. Initially limited to 1.5 years, the employment relationship is automatically extended to 4 years if the employer does not submit a declaration of non-extension within the first 12 months.
