To expand our team and to ensure cost optimization in the department Global Sourcing E-Mechanics/Drives we are looking for an experienced strategic buyer. In this position you are responsible for all strategic agendas of the associated product groups. Your tasks include cost optimization, strategic further development of the supplier portfolio and self-responsible processing of savings and development projects.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring cost optimization in E-Mechanics/Drives (considering the total costs of Ownership, turnaround frequency, delivery performance)
• Implementation of a professional supplier management (search, selection, classification, further development, Implementation, and risk assessment)
• Proactive market monitoring and analysis as well as escalation management
• Interface to R&D and the procurement market for the evaluation of new technologies and/or products Management complex contract negotiations and professional contract management
• Data analysis, controlling and reporting

Your background

• Completed commercial and technical education (e.g., industrial engineering)
• Professional experience in international purchasing Market knowledge and experience in the field of industrial environment desired
• Safe handling of MS-Office applications, experience with SAP module MM is an advantage
• Very good German and English skills
• Diplomatic and assertive personality with strong negotiating skills
• Enjoyment of a varied job with a high degree of personal responsibility
