Your Job

You'lll be working as a C Developer for Molex's office in Normandie (France), reporting to a Developer lead and an Engineering manager.

What You Will Do

• You will be an embedded C Developer in an industrial communication over Ethernet field.
• You will work alongside an experimented senior engineer and you will contribute to development, maintenance, and optimization of our low-level and BSP communication layers, ensuring efficient and reliable operation of our functional safety industrial devices.
• You will acquire detailed knowledge of interfacing with various hardware chips (I2C bus, flash, RAM, …), as well as a deep understanding of Ethernet driver architectures and the Ethernet standard protocol used in industrial environments.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Electronics, Computer Engineering or computer Science degree, diploma or equivalent.
• C programming language skills
• Fluent in English, any other language is a plus.
• Analytical skills, good communication and team building skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Familiarity with RTOS (Real-Time Operating Systems), device drivers, and application-level development in an embedded environment.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, CIP Safety, PROFINET, PROFISafe.
• Knowledge in ethernet protocol
• Familiarity with Functional Safety (IEC 61508 or similar standards)
• Familiarity with PLC's, and ladder logic.
• Experience with source control systems such as GitLab
• Experience with unit testing tools/frameworks such as Cantata
