In Chemicals & Materials, OMV through its subsidiary Borealis, is one of the world's leading providers of advanced and circular polyolefin solutions and a European market leader in base chemicals and plastics recycling. Together with its two major joint ventures - Borouge (with ADNOC, in the UAE and Singapore) and Baystar™ (with TotalEnergies, in the USA) - Borealis supplies products and services to customers across the globe. OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.

Our business

• In close collaboration with the responsible Head of Department to develop OMV Group’s Circular Feedstock strategy.
• Manage the identification of potential venture / acquisition targets through to deal negotiations and successful execution.
• Act as project manager for Feedstock Supply and pre-treatment joint ventures and Mergers & Acquisition projects, and in this capacity support development and execution of the negotiation strategy, act as interface to all involved Group functions, contribute to evaluation of key risks and upsides as well as mitigation strategy and execution plan, and manage Due Diligence process.
• Manage executive alignment and approval process (incl. preparation of presentations and motions, as required) and support the responsible Head of Department and responsible Senior Vice President in executive communication.
• Identify stakeholders, develop communication strategy in close alignment with the responsible Head of Department and responsible Senior Vice President and facilitate and manage communication and alignment with external and internal stakeholders.
• Represent OMV's interests in Circular Feedstock joint ventures and Cooperations.
• Manage Circular Feedstock business/ implementation projects.
• Contribute to development and optimization of Circular Feedstock pre-treatment processes and projects to ensure fulfilment of Circular Economy business requirements in terms of quality and cost.
• Together with experts from the Circular Economy Innovation department develop and establish appropriate QA/QC processes and systems and support supply partners in their implementation.
• Ensure supply partners meet required certification criteria (ISCC+) and support supply partners in implementation of required systems.
• Closely collaborate with the Circular Economy Business Development and Circular Economy Technology & Innovation departments as well as Borealis Circular Economy Solutions to ensure cross-departmental/ cross-company knowhow exchange and alignment.

• You have a Master Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or Law.
• You have minimum 12 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills.
• Experience in commercial negotiations and/ or negotiation of strategic partnerships and joint ventures.
• Experience in project management and proficiency in project management methods and tools.
• Understanding of/ experience in the waste industry or adjacent industry is a plus but not a must.
• Self-starting/ self-motivating character with drive to deliver on agreed targets.
• Strong partner orientation and entrepreneurial spirit with "hands-on mentality".
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong relationship and network building skills (within OMV and outside the organization) and ability to collaborate across a variety of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relevant plug-ins (think-cell).
• Business fluency in German and English; knowledge of other languages (in particular Eastern European languages) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel.
