YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) Specialist is responsible for the implementation, control and supervision of the FDM program and in conjunction with fellow team members, the coordination of the occurrence reporting database
Represents the company on FDM and safety matters
Implements procedures relating to FDM, compliant to regulations, according to DHA standards and regularly updated
Supervises and controls FDM related activities
Supports documentation and implementation of relevant ISARPS for IOSA certification
Defines processes and procedures required for flight data monitoring and oversight
YOUR TASKS:
Acts as the administrator for the FDM system application
Oversees of all Operational FDM events to ensure that they are analysed and investigated as required
Assists with the investigation of accidents, incidents and hazardous occurrences
Supports coordination of the occurrence reporting database
Researches and undertakes statistical analysis of data to identify operational hazards, potentially hazardous conditions and adverse trends
Develops and delivers of internal trainings
Maintains safety documentation
Provides advice and support to other internal departments
Liaises with external bodies and stakeholders such as Civil Aviation Authorities (ACG), group and external airlines
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
Holds an undergraduate degree in aviation engineering or similar
Significant experience in flight data monitoring
Sound knowledge of FDM software tools and flight data evaluation
Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices
Familiarity with management systems preferably in the area of aviation
5 years of relevant work experience of which at least 2 years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position
English language proficiency
Sound understanding of flight operations processes and procedures and organizational requirements, quality assurance and safety implications
Strong interpersonal skills, able to build effective working relationships
Social and communication competencies
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
Knowledge of:
the applicable EU safety regulations and any associated requirements and procedures
the AOC holder's operations specifications
the need for, and content of, the relevant parts of the AOC holder's operations manual
