Materials Engineer - Global Ceramic Laboratory (m/f/d)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assessment & qualification of new / alternative ceramic materials, visual inspection and failure analysis of ceramic components
• Implementation of new mechanical testing techniques for ceramic materials
• Support local and global technology development projects in the field of hybrid bearings
• Distribute competence of established ceramic component inspection methods and support the development of complementary / automated inspection technologies

YOUR PROFILE:

• University degree (preferably Materials Science) with knowhow in ceramic materials technology (material properties, microstructure, sintering, grinding, etc.)
• Excellent command of English & willingness to work in international teams
• Ability to travel, open communicator, team player
• Self-structured and target-oriented working attitude
• Quality knowledge and interest in project management are advantageous
• Industrial experience and computer skills are advantageous
