An excellent opportunity has become available with my client based in Austria, as a Brand Manager. The ideal person will have a background in Pharmacy, with an interest in going into Marketing, or someone with 1+ years of marketing experience within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing medical and pharmaceutical information and marketing materials, lecturing, communicating with agencies (ideas, briefing, price-discussions, critical result monitoring).
2. Exploring new business opportunities together with Marketing & Sales Manager
3. Cooperating closely with marketing & sales team (educating them, training them about products and their characteristics, occasionally visiting clients together with the field force etc.)
4. Monitoring sales of the client’s products and of competitive products, market analyses.
5. Suggesting marketing strategies.
6. Performing marketing activities and providing medical information on the client’s products to pharmacies consistently with the company’s strategy and goals of the organisational unit.
7. Taking part in company trade fairs

Role Requirements:

1. Pharmacy degree or natural science degree OR a degree in Economy/Business/Marketing
2. The suitable candidate is a recent graduate, who either works as a pharmacist in pharmacy and would like to continue their career in pharma industry, has good knowledge about pharmaceutical products and shows high interest in marketing
3. The suitable candidate could also be a young professional working as a Brand Associate (or similar position) within the pharmaceutical industry (ideally working with generic products).
4. You should be able to work closely with the field force team.
5. You should be able to cooperate in the development of new products and in product launches.
