SO WHATS THE STORY - Store Manager / Filialleiter (m/w/d) - Vienna

We are looking for an engaging, inspirational Store Manager to lead our new team at our first Austrian store opening in Vienna in September 2024. We can't wait to find the Store Manager who brings the Dr.Martens movement to Austria!

Our Store Managers provide leadership and direction, guiding their team to provide an outstanding service offer that supports the delivery and growth of Dr.Martens. You will be the driving force in cultivating a great working environment within your store always ensuring your teams well-being is at the heart of your decision making.

THE GIG - Store Manager / Filialleiter (m/w/d) - Vienna

• Day-to-day retail operations to meet company expectations (Scheduling, coaching, sales analysis, visual merchandising and administration)
• Overall responsibility for Health & Safety and security issues within the store
• Achieving set KPI's (i.e. Sales/CR/UPT) in line with the store P&L budget
• Leading and implementing high standards of customer experience and product knowledge within the team through a coaching approach to create a seamless and consistent customer experience.
• Ensuring appropriate stock management procedures are followed including stock take, process deliveries, loss prevention actions etc.
• Working closely with your Regional Manager and Head Office functions to take commercial decisions for your store in line with our business objectives.

• You'll help build a highly engaged team - ensuring a collaborative culture and providing guidance & support to other team .members.

• You will bring the outside-in; you'll share best practice across the team/business and encourage ideas sharing as well as collaborative problem solving.
• You'll lead the way and role model on all things DE&I & wellbeing.

To be our Store Manager you should have/or be;

• Fluency in both German & English to a high working level ability.
• Passion for our product.
• Similar experience in a Store Manager or Assistant Manager role (within a fashion/lifestyle brand would be preferable)
• Experience of coaching, developing and mentoring a retail team (including dealing with performance issues.
• Sales oriented and able to drive others to achieve store goals and objectives.
• Excellent communication, numeracy & literacy skills.
• Good I.T literacy- experience of Microsoft Office applications, Scheduling tools, Cash Management & EPOS systems
• Demonstrate resilience and think quickly on their feet on how to resolve emergent issues.
