Department Overview

The International Strategy and Sales Enablement team is responsible for the portfolio strategy and the go to market deliverables for the products and solutions we sell in the International markets. This includes portfolio strategy and actions to 1) Strengthen and grow the core, 2) Expand into software and mobile video opportunities and 3) Drive strategic growth on emerging solutions on private broadband, Fixed Video, and new service offers. The SW Solutions International Strategy and Sales Enablement Consultant position is a key focus area for our business and includes responsibility for the International region. The SW Solutions International Strategy and Sales Enablement Consultant will lead the effort in gathering market size information, customer inputs, sales team inputs, to support creating the core materials needed to equip our sales teams to successfully sell our SW solutions. In this role, you will partner closely with the product team, global marketing, launch & sales enablement, and internal stakeholders across Motorola Solutions to drive our strategy and plan for adoption and accelerated growth of our SW portfolio of solutions.

You will have to analyze industry use cases, understand different customer needs, SaaS business models, and recommend offers to reach all customers that communicate the value of our products. We're looking for someone who can develop innovative approaches with shared value for our customers, our partners, and Motorola Solutions.

  • Lead strategic initiatives to expand and grow sales of SW solutions, including in the phases of incident awareness, incident management and post-incident resolution

  • Strategic planning for the introduction and launch of products aligned to the Software organization

  • Identify and champion market research efforts to ensure value propositions that will exceed our customer expectations.

  • Gather and analyze the voice of the customer and sales to develop solution requirements.

  • Define a go to market strategy that aligns and enables growth in both our government and enterprise businesses.

  • Analyze business opportunities to grow the portfolio both organically and inorganically.

  • Maintain and communicate product solution roadmaps.

  • Develop the customer value proposition to positively differentiate our product in the market.

  • Research and maintain a pulse on the competitive landscape and overall market trends to define market leading solutions.

  • Define and communicate product positioning and key product messages to regional sales teams and work closely with Marketing Communications on the content of product marketing collateral.

  • Support and deliver customer presentations and become a regional market expert on the solutions.

  • Support sales opportunities during the needs analysis process, confirm that MSI's SW solutions meet the prospect's requirements and assist in technical qualifications.

Basic Requirements

  • 3+ years progressive experience with a strong understanding of SW solutions used for government and enterprise customers

  • Prior experience in strategy or sales enablement roles is desirable

  • Delivering Product Demos to end users

  • Engaging and building relationships with end users

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus

  • Strong business analytical skills

  • Solid understanding of SaaS, cloud technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends.

  • Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and follow-through.

  • Deals well with ambiguity and identifies systemic approaches to solving problems.

  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to deeply assess the competition and drive perception-shifting efforts that differentiate Motorola Solutions in compelling ways.

  • Highly skilled in presenting insights in a concise, effective and influential manner to a variety of audiences, including senior executives on a regular basis.

  • Proven track record of collaboration within a team and meeting schedule deadlines

  • Ability to influence members external to their department

  • Ability to interface and communicate effectively with multi-discipline, cross-cultural teams

  • Travel Requirements - 10-25%

  • Language requirements: English required and second European language
