Your personal sphere of influence:Your future position is at the Institute of Theatre, Film and Media Studies and is subject to the professorship for Cultural history of audiovisual media.The position as University Assistant Prae Doc is initially limited to 4 months (with the option of extension up to 11 months).Your future tasks:You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means:You are involved in research projects.Your are involved in publications and scientific articles.Your are involved in organising meetings, conferences and symposiums.You work on your media sicience dissertation and its completion.You hold courses independently within the scope of the provisions of the collective bargaining agreement.You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.You supervise students.This is part of your personality:Completed Master's degree or Diploma, in the field Theatre, Film and Media Studies with a focus on media studiesSpecial skills in one or more ares of media studies: media theory, media history as social history, gender-media research, class and / in media demonstrated by qualification papers or other forms of publicationMethodical skills in the area of media analysisDidactic competences / experience with e-learningExcellent command of written and spoken English (C1 Level)IT user skillsHigh ability to express yourself both orally and in writingYou should be a team player with high social skillsDesirable knowledge:Knowledge of university processes and structuresExperience abroadFirst practice in scientific writing and research methodsExperience with image editing programmesWhat we offer:Work-life balance: Our employees enjoy flexible working hours and can partially work remotely.
