The Payments Services Department is part of the Core Services division of Erste Digital. We are responsible not only for the smooth operation of national and international payment transactions but also for central compliance screening within the Erste Group. • As part of a highly motivated team, you will be developing state-of-the-art software
• You will be co-responsible for defining the software architecture and development processes of the next generation of payment systems
• You will ensure that digital applications of Erste Group are continuously developed and maintained at the highest quality level

• Software engineering know-how, especially in Java
• Experience with scalable applications in a container environment (e.g. Open Shift/Kubernetes)
• Design and implementation of microservices & APIs and frontends (Java 21, Spring Boot 3, Angular 17)
• Basic knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases (Oracle, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Redis,..)
• Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn new technologies/programming languages
• Ability for effective teamwork and self-motivation
• Excellent knowledge of German and English

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - the minimum wage for this position in accordance with the respective collective agreement is EUR 60.844,-- gross per year. But this is just a formality, we are more than happy to discuss your actual expectations.
