In Chemicals & Materials, OMV through its subsidiary Borealis, is one of the world's leading providers of advanced and circular polyolefin solutions and a European market leader in base chemicals and plastics recycling. Together with its two major joint ventures - Borouge (with ADNOC, in the UAE and Singapore) and Baystar (with TotalEnergies, in the USA) - Borealis supplies products and services to customers across the globe. OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.

You will get an insight in

As a part of the Business Uni Value Chain Optimization, the Short Term Optimization team is:

• in charge of the operational execution of the monthly production and sales plan
• Minimizing the impact from unplanned operational issues on economics and product availability
• Achieving additional benefits on top of plan by spotting opportunities on the market

What awaits you

• You will support the STO team with preparing daily reports monitoring the stocks in our tank farms, sales performance and market prices, as a basis for decision making
• Preparing weekly and monthly reviews for tracking the STO KPIs
• Keeping track of deadlines and work progresses
• You have the opportunity to help the team further develop the reporting system in Excel and Power Bi
• As the team is closely cooperating with experts from several parts of the supply chain (refinery, supply, logistics and sales) you can help developing new reporting tools in areas of your special interest

What we are looking for

• You are a currently enrolled student
• You are fluent in English (German is a plus)
• Confident handling of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
• Have an understanding of material and information flow in the supply chain of a producing company
• Eager to gain first SAP and PowerBi knowledge
• You are interested in data analytics
• You are curious and creative
• You work precisely and independently
