Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.Our businessYour tasks Screening of new climate & environmental related regulatory requirements at OMV Group level and develop standards for required climate & environmental performance tracking derived from forthcoming sustainability reporting standards.Responsible for the continuous improvement of the OMV Group GHG Management framework & governance and the integration of new requirements.Provide business support and advise on net-zero related and environmental topics across Group, and develop and deliver net-zero trainings. Develop and track the performance of OMV Group GHG targets in line with the Paris Agreement and other regulatory requirements and monitor their efficient implementation, and develop GHG targets for the Executive Board annual bonus & LTIP based on the set agenda and calculate the performance achievement. Assess applicability of net-zero certifications (e.g. SBTi), develop net-zero path, and prepare certification as required.Ensure the development of a climate transition plan according to regulatory and other stakeholder requirements. Advice project teams and local staff on GHG emission reduction and environmental aspects and provide subject matter expert advice for the allocation of sustainability CAPEX in terms of climate & environment.Develop and maintain group wide minimum GHG relevant performance requirements for new projects (running business), ensure their role out and analyze gaps.Ensure and manage integration of GHG & environmental relevant considerations in engineering/design phase, participation in project relevant steering processes as well as project reviews, tollgates, etc. Support business with the integration of GHG and environmental relevant considerations in due diligences for M&As, acquisitions and divestments and participate in due diligence processes.Your profile You have a Master Degree in Climate Policy, Environmental Management, Business Administration, Natural Sciences or Computer Science.You have minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.Ideally 5 years of experience in net-zero strategies with a particular focus on GHG management.Experience in developing and implementing of net-zero targets. Strong modelling and data integration skills.
