Project Development Engineer Fluidics, Mechanics, HVAC f/m/d

As a project development engineer, you will be responsible for the entire project life cycle of the climate chambers sub-area in a customer project. You will translate the requirements of the sales team into precise design documents and orders for the components of a climate chamber system. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze system requirements in close collaboration with technical sales and solution engineering
• Concept and detail engineering for environmental testing systems with a focus on fluidics, mechanics and HVAC
• Independent development and validation of solutions
• Preparation of technical specifications and tender documents for suppliers
• Coordination of supplier orders to ensure agreed deadlines for the customer project
• Working closely with the project team to seamlessly integrate the climate chamber into the overall system
• Continuous reporting on the progress of the project in terms of scope, schedule and costs

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed technical education (Secondary Technical College, University or University of Applied Sciences, University of Technology) with a focus on mechanical engineering, mechatronics, HVAC or a related field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in technical project work ideally in the fields of mechanical engineering, test engineering, plant engineering, HVAC or fluid technology in a multinational matrix organization
• Practical experience in the field of product development as well as general development and planning activities is an advantage
• Good knowledge of 3D CAD (SolidWorks) is an advantage
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills as well as perseverance and assertiveness
• Very good knowledge of English and German
• Willingness to travel a maximum of 10 percent (mainly Europe)

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €53,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
